Joe Cooper-Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers coach
j288c0803@gmail.com
I am a BLESSED and extremely proud father of two beautiful kids Joseph Cooper Jr. A.k.A.(JJ) and Natalia. I've lived here in the community for the 18 years. I've had the privilege of coaching both boys’ junior high football and basketball teams as well as an assistant varsity Coach. I was a two time captain at The Ohio State University under Coach Cooper and Coach Tressel. My goals in coaching are to teach our young men valuable lessons both on and off the field. It's not just the Xs and Os. It's the individual conversations we as coaches have with the boys to check on their overall wellbeing at home, school and on the field. It takes a village to raise our youth in these unpredictable days. I am one very small piece to a puzzle of molding great young men. Go RaidersHello world,

Ashanti Barbee-Running Backs coach
a.barbee601@gmail.com
My name is Ashanti Barbee I am a Staff Sergeant in the Ohio Army National Guard. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Four year letterman at Independence High School, where I was captain my senior year. I also achieved 1st team All-City and Honorable mention All-District. After graduating in 1999, I was invited to walk-on the football team at West Virginia University. After my redshirt year I transferred to University of Akron and finished my collegiate career.

I started my coaching career with little league teams throughout the city. I received my first opportunity to coach on the high school level at East High School in Columbus, Ohio. After taking a couple years off from coaching to help my family, I returned to coach last year in 2015 with an opportunity at Reynoldsburg High School as the Running back and Defensive back Coach. After our amazing season in 2015 I was offered the opportunity to coach again at Reynoldsburg High School. I am in my 2nd year coaching at RHS as the Running Backs Coach. I am excited to help lead these young men into battle this year with the opportunity to achieve more this season. Go Raiders! "Who you With!"

Kenny King-Defensive Line coach/Hudl Coordinator
miftwp@gmail.com

Kenny King graduated from Watkins Memorial in 1989. He then went to Kent State and graduated in 1995.  In 2000 he became a career firefighter in Gahanna for Mifflin Township Fire Department.   In 2004 I started coaching at Gahanna, coaching wrestling. When the new coach took over football in 2006 at Gahanna I started helping with the football team. After a couple years I worked my way into a varsity assistant position coach helping with the Offensive and Defensive line.

2016 marks Coach Kings third year at Reynoldsburg, all as the Defensive line coach. Coaching was a lifetime dream of mine, I was very fortunate to get the chance given to me my coach Snoad at Gahanna. I was privileged to learn under some older coaches that had been all over the place coaching and brought a lot of knowledge to the table.  After leaving Gahanna I was fortunate to be picked up by Coach White here at Reynoldsburg.  It has been a privilege to be a part of all the accomplishments these kids and this staff have made over the last few years.  I believe that part of my job is to help develop these men for what is coming in life, and we learn a small part of that through the lessons we learn every day on the field. Successful grades and moving onto college through academics or athletics, watching them develop into young men is what is the true gift of coaching.
I would like to thanks the Reynoldsburg school district, the RFPA and all the parents who let me be a part of their sons lives for this long 3.5 month season.
