Camps/Combines

2016 Camps

The Great Lakes Premier Football Camp
has been designed to gather together the finest college coaches and athletes in the Great Lakes region and beyond.

Coaches from the east coast and the Midwest, representing more than twelve outstanding conferences, will be on hand to meet and evaluate your players aspiring to play at the next level.   This two day event will allow your guys to be evaluated during, individual, group and team drills and competitions.   This is not a combine but a more practical method to evaluate and collect meaningful information on college football prospects.

Meeting so many coaches at one venue EARLY in the summer allows these college coaches to invite players they see and like to their particular camps later in the summer.   Deciding on what camps and when is a major problem for parents and players so this helps them refine this process and thus saving time and money.   We’ve all seen those poor kids that spend all summer going to way too many camps, often with little or no evidence as to why they chose a particular camp.

Please share the below website with your students-athletes that want to play college football, particularly your rising seniors for 2017.

We appreciate your time and hope to see your players at the Great Lakes Premier Football Camp!

Le'Veon Bell (Steelers) Elite Exposure Camp May 14th (Registration Open)

Pro Bowl running back Le’Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers will return to his hometown of Columbus Ohio on Saturday, May 14th to host his second annual high school elite exposure camp!

This free camp will provide college recruitment exposure opportunities for area student athletes, and motivate them to work hard to achieve their dreams. We had a great turn out at last year's inaugural camp and are looking forward to another successful camp.

The free, non-contact camp, with a focus on strengthening the attendees’ foundation of the game and position specific drills to work on during the off season. Bell's goal is to assist campers in maximizing their natural ability, while giving the athletes exposure to coaches and scouts at the next level.  The camp flyer and fact sheet is attached to this email with additional information.

Registration is now open. For more information and to register your players
please visit: WWW.LEVEONBELLELITECAMP.EVENTBRITE.COM

We also have a few coach slots open to assist Le'Veon at the camp. Please refer any local coaches who would be interested and are not affiliated with a middle or high school to contact us at profilespr@gmail.com.  Please note, the Ohio High School Athletic Association has advised that we're unable to have middle and high school coaches participate this year because it would count as a school camp date.

I would like to invite any of your Offensive & Defensive Lineman to our 1st Annual Big Men in The Big House Camp on Saturday, June 18th. This camp is exclusively for the big guys up front. We all know at times the emphasis can be on the skill positions, but we want to do something special and give the Big Men a camp where they can learn from the best! This camp will focus on gaining a better understanding of the fundamentals and techniques that we use here at The University of Michigan as well as some fundamentals and techniques that some of the NFL Players and Coaches use as well. We want for your players to HEAR how the professionals coach, so you can PLAY like the professionals play.

At this camp, your players will receive instruction from The University of Michigan coaching staff, Former and Current NFL Players & Coaches, and current Michigan Players. We will split the camp up by Offensive Line & Defensive Line. The Offensive Line group will be instructed by myself, our Assistant Offensive Line Coaches, Former University of Michigan OL; Jake Long, David Baas, Jonathan Goodwin, Taylor Lewan, Patrick Omameh and Graham Glasgow. The Defensive Line group will be instructed by Greg Mattison (DL Coach), our Assistant Defensive Line Coaches, Former University of Michigan DL; Mike Martin, Frank Clark, Brennan Beyer, Mario Ojemudia, and Willie Henry. We feel that the coaching your players will receive from our staff is very unique and allows them to not only receive feedback from a coach, but also a player at the highest level.

The camp will include specific drills both offensively and defensively that will focus on the fundamentals and techniques we implement, specific strong man drills that correlate to both Offensive and Defensive line play, 1 vs 1 Competition, and a BBQ! I think this camp gives your player a unique opportunity to experience what it is like to practice on the turf of Michigan Stadium and to be coached by guys who played on it! In this e-mail I have attached two fliers for the Big Man Camp with information on our guests. The spots for camp are filling up, so we wanted to make sure your players don't miss out on a great opportunity! You can register at www.michiganfootballcamp.com. After entering the website you will scroll down to the "Big Man Football Camp" tab and click register now from there.

Thank you and have a great rest of Spring Football!

A great camp is being held in Hudson on June 3rd and 4th.  Over 40 college coaches from Ohio, surrounding states and the Ivy and Patriot leagues will be at the camp.  A 30% discount is currently being offered for the next few weeks.  This is a great opportunity for your players to be in front of many fine coaches that have this recruiting area.  Please forward this camp info to your student/athletes that have an interest in connecting with these schools.
